Reflections on the video “Men APOLOGIZES 4 Mistreatment Of Women”

I have watched the video on men apologising for the mistreatment of women recently. I think it is a sign of collective evolution of humanity around the world even as more people are coming out of organised religion and rediscovering our true divine self, which in turn leads us to recognising the intrinsic value of each person as gods and goddesses. Ancient religions, such as paganism, honour women for their feminine qualities, equating them to the nurturing and compassionate aspects of Mother Earth.

I note that the way people have treated the environment may be a reflection of the way they have treated women, and likewise the rise in environmental consciousness today coincides with a growing awareness and appreciation of the value of women and their contributions to the nurturing and healing of humanity. Organised religions that are patriarchal are losing influence in this age of spiritual awakening even as more people are becoming conscious of our oneness and embracing our masculine and feminine energies or yang and yin, instead of favouring one over the other, resulting in equal treatment and respect for women.

As the saying goes, when the power of love overcomes the love of power, there will be peace, and in this case, there will be peace and unity among men and women instead of division and duality, as both genders will see themselves and one another as made in the image and likeness of Divine Love.

I am a beloved child of Divine Love/Great Spirit, and so are you. We are spiritual beings on a human journey. My main interests in life include Nature, music, spirituality, inspiration, philosophy, sports, reading and photography.

  1. Because of my grounding in Celtic philosophy I know of the value of women, and they have an edge in many areas on men. It is to the woman (mother) as the Celt would say that a man gains his masculinity: a name. a sword, a wife. the woman to the Celts was the expression of the land, and thus dishonour any one of those and both are dishonored, and woe be the one who dishonoured them.

But I strike a word of caution, humanity as a whole is to blame for their woes, that is both men and women, it is not all mens fault.
